Taman Ujung or Sukasada Park
Taman Ujung or Sukasada Park, is a park in Banjar Ujung, Tumbu village, sub-district, Karangasem, Karangasem, Bali. The park is located approximately 5 km to the southeast of the city Amlapura. In the Dutch East Indies a place known by the name Waterpaleis or "water palace".History
Taman Ujung Karangasem was built by the king of Karangasem I Gusti Bagus Jelantik, who holds Anak Agung Agung Ketut Karangasem Anglurah. At the beginning of almost 400 hectares, but now only about 10 hectares. Most of the land has been distributed to the public at the time of land reform. This park is a privately owned family Puri Karangasem. But the general visitors are allowed to visit.Taman Ujung was built in 1909 on the initiative of Anak Agung Anglurah. The architect was a Dutchman named van Den Hentz and a Chinese named Loto Ang. This development also involves a undagi (Balinese architect). The tip of the park is actually the development of a pool which has been built Dirah 1901 Edge Park Construction was completed in 1921, in 1937, Taman Ujung Karangasem inaugurated with a marble stele inscribed with the text in Latin script and Bali and two languages, Malay and Bali.
