Diving at The Menjangan

If you are diving in Bali then the North West is probably the best place to go diving if you like to see abundant marine life. Lots of reef fish, amazing coral, dramatic walls and drop-offs, it's all there!

Blessed with beautiful dive conditions, wonderful marine life and some of the world's rarest species.

Bajul Bay Diving

Often overlooked by divers as it is shadowed by the famous Menjangan Island. This wonderful bay is located only meters from the dive center.

Nico's rock
Located on the outer edge of Bajul Bay, this site is blessed with the same nutrient rich currents that rush past Menjangan Island, allowing this area of the reef to be covered in remarkable coral growth and marine life. If you wouldn't mind carrying your dive gear, you could get to this site directly from your beach front villa, being that it lies about 75 meters in front of them through an area of water that is less then 2 meters deep during high tide. Due to this awkward depth we normally take a short, about 3 minutes boat ride out to our entry point. Besides the massive 40+ meters wall that is here, there is also a special pinnacle that lies 10 meters out from the wall, that hold more special surprises then we can normally count.

Visibility: 15 - 25 meters
Depth: 8 - 40+ meters
Current: Dependant on tides. Normally slight current
Divers level: All levels
Marine Life: Scorpion fish, multiple different type of nudibranchs, turtle, and many schools of travellies, fusiliers, etc.
The jetty/Mandarin point

Located only meters from the dive center at the end of the Resort's private jetty. Being that this site can be entered by both the jetty or the beach, it is perfect for all levels of divers, even for our Discover Scuba Diving guests One of the highlight of this site would be the mandarin fish which comes out at sunset for their nightly mating ritual for the pleasure of our eyes and cameras.

Visibility: 7 - 15 meters
Depth: 3 - 20 meters
Current: Occasional surface current
Divers level: All levels
Marine Life: Mandarin fish, batfish, ornate ghost pipefish, frogfish, zebra crab, scorpion fish, lion fish, pipefish, barracuda and even the occasional turtle.

With Blue Season Bali @ The Menjangan we are offering a great chance to do unlimited diving in this bay. Due to the proximity of the Dive center, we can do dusk dive and night dives to get closer to the mandarin fish. Perfect for photographers who just want to dive as much as possible.
