Panji tourism village

Panji village is a village located in the northern Bali, precisely located in the district Sukasada, Buleleng regency, province of Bali, Indonesia. most of the people working in agriculture and plantations.

The total population in 2009 was 8,537. The total area of 1061 ha. located at an altitude of 200m to 650m above sea level. At an altitude of 650m above sea level we could stretch of plantations and paddy fields, if we look further part of the city and the the ocean can be seen from there.


Now a lot of foreign citizens living and settled in this village, they live there because they feel comfortable to settle in this village, in this case because of the hospitality of the villagers and the village is very beautiful atmosphere enchanting.

In this village there is a monument to the struggle of the people of Bali in Dutch colonial known as "Monument Bhuwana Kerta" struggle monument was built after the struggle of the people of Bali in maintaining the area of Dutch colonialism who wanted to divide the Balinese people, after the proclamation of Indonesian Independence echoed. 

On that occasion, the Balinese people, particularly North Bali made a pledge that reads: "When the Republic of Indonesia won, this place will be built a temple of the Republic". Pledge nationalism is spoken by the freedom fighters on January 17, 1948.

BhuwanaKerta monument 

BhuwanaKerta monument was constructed by laying the first stone construction is carried out on 31 March 1966. The area around the monument Bhuwana Kerta 1,350 acres. Monument Bhuwana Kerta is 17 yards of hight, a symbolic visualization of the sacred number Indonesian independence. 

Peak padmasana and fire tangible monument, a symbol of God who gives the grace of independence for Indonesia. Under the form of Padmasana and fire are a form of lotus leaves eight asthadala symbol, the manifestation of God in the Hindu faith. In addition, the shape of the moon is a symbol of independence of Indonesia.
